It was city2surf back two weeks ago! Can't believe time has flown by so quickly, it's already been 2 weeks since the long run, and it only felt like a week ago. Time flies when you're too busy to realise time is going by. I've done the whole "stare at the second hand tick one full circle around the clock face" while waiting to clock off after work (because when I work with efficient people, we tend to finish everything at least 5 minutes before our shift ends) and each second goes by so slowly.

Imagine, I took more than 100 "second hand goes round clock face" cycles to run 14km.
From Week 31-33, 2010

This is our blue start! Went with a couple of friends, some from work, some from high school, some friends of friends. Two of them took the 6:07am train to drop off their bags, but I'm not that insane. Took the train at around 7am, which is already too early for me. Just in case we didn't make the bag drop off, I tried to travel without a bag. Which means taking my keys out of the big soft toy key chain and carrying important cards and some cash in a pouch. And my phone. And drink bottle. Oh, and the tag and bib. And some candies for a sugar fix afterwards.

... In the end, I just took a small bag along. T T It's impossible for girls to travel without a bag, simply impossible! I left behind my camera too =( so all the photos in this entry will be crap pictures taken with my phone.

We made it for the bag drop off anyway! =_______=  It's unfortunate, but a few of my friends won't be starting at the blue start next year- one qualified for red (the first and fastest team- above 75 minutes, and another qualified for blue- above 100 minutes), but congratulations to them anyway! I suck and got 107 minutes, haha.

From Week 31-33, 2010
After the race, we decided to walk from Bondi Beach all the way to Bondi Junction. It was a long and slow walk, with aching muscles and tired bodies (we woke up insanely early and everyone was literally dragging themselves to Bondi Junction with many occasional yawns) and it felt like another 14km before we reached there. Went to have a quick lunch before heading back and settled for some Thai.

From Week 31-33, 2010
I know at least one other person was feeling nausea from the run. I personally didn't have much of an appetite for food after running that much.

From Week 31-33, 2010
It's been a while since I used my phone to take photos of food from restaurants. No, my hand was not having a seizure- blame the phone for the crappy quality and blurriness =(

From Week 31-33, 2010
Photoshop can't save these photos.

From Week 31-33, 2010

From Week 31-33, 2010
I think I over-sharpened this.

From Week 31-33, 2010
I did get a cool number though! =D And I just had to show off the totoro bag, cos I really missed carrying a bag that day. Realise I feel insecure if I don't have a big bag with me. It's like a snail without its shell, just feels wrong.

From Week 31-33, 2010
Dinner one night at Mr Han's restaurant, Eastwood. No one bothers cooking in this house anymore. Ever since my sister and her fiance left to go back to Singapore, my brother steals all my food and my parents are  doing it too.

From Week 31-33, 2010
Veggie wanton!

From Week 31-33, 2010
My dad saw the table next to ours having this, so he was like "we'll have that too". I don't think he even knew what it was, but wasn't too bad.

From Week 31-33, 2010
XLB. Double tiers, please!

From Week 31-33, 2010
Oh, this one? Next entry =) I went to this new restaurant with tt just to try it out. It's directly opposite my bus stop to go home from city, next to KFC.... that's... Bathurst Street, I think? Anyway, I actually went there twice, and the second time, icie was my personal food photographer, so I still need to get the pictures off him.

That will be a heck of a long entry. Just imagine how many dishes 9 people can order =D

you're right- it's you and your terrible eyesight, don't blame my perfectly clear pictures! =P

yw! You did city2surf?? we should have met up and go eat afterwards or something! trust me, I don't want to remember that torturous walk to Bondi Junction, I spent every minute of it wondering when and if we'd actually get there >< the buses were all super crowded too though... would have been a long wait...
